End of Term Round Up

 This is the last day of the term so i am writing a end of term round up

This term i haven't bean here that much so i don't know what happened so far all that has happened was pihitia farm and we had ice cream today.

Pihitia station

On tuesday  we went to Pihitia station to learn about meat, technology, woll, pests, dairy products and herding. We split into groups and then my group went to shepherding first .

 

It was fun herding the sheep we were watching the sheep get weighed  to so they could get butchered . We went outside the grass was so green but the sheep had rekt it because there was so many holes in the dirt.We went from the shepherding to technology we didn't have long at the technology but it was cool because i learned something new . It must be very expensive because they use drones that connect to a tv. Angus is dad explains what vehicles they use on the farm. The next thing was sheering. I like sheering the most because the woll was so soft and some reason it was oily but it felt nice it was really soft . People shoore the sheep . Then it was pests on the farm. The person that told us some of the traps they use. He showed us how to set them and what they do to pests except sticks .Next it was the meet and the we were cutting up an entire lamb. The vegetarians and people went out side because the didn't want to see it . The last thing was dairy products . There was a cow that you could milk. it felt weird touching the uders .

We had a bit of food from our lunch boxes then we left.

Learning Through Play

 I took apart an remote control car and it was hard . There was lot's of screws we couldn't find the screws that we needed to take out . We found finally them we took it apart and then there was more screws to get the motor out of its case but we didn't have the right screwdriver so we had to destroy the case which broke the motor so it was no use . we stabbed the hell out of the motor.

I broke my leg:-(

 In the morning I was biking to school one day on my new bike I accidentally got hit by a car and broke my leg. IT SUCKS!! I can't do anything but stay inside at least I got a ps4 . It was so boring in the hospital I had to lie in bed all day. But now I am back at school and I am fine.

Covid- 19

Covid-19

 We moved back into level two because we had another outbreak. Auckland has moved is in level 3 in lock down . I hope that we don't move back into level 3 but it won't matter to much because i broke my leg and i can't play sport anyway. Not much has changed except social distancing  hand sanitizer. Not one single shop or park is closed. It hasn't really affected school that much.

Swimming sports

It was ten o'clock am and we were of to swimming sports . I was entered in all the events. A long bus drive to the enterprise pool.as we got of the bus and entered the big building i started to feel nervous.  we got changed into our swimming  gear.soon it was time for my race.

Free stile

I was called up and i sat in line for about two races. It was my turn to race  i nevosle stepped up to the diving board. On your marks , set , beep! The buzzer went i quickle dived in . yus i made it into the final i didn't win but i still made it.

back strok

 i just got back from free stille and i took a breather for a minit and i was straight back in the line . I grow more nervous as i go t closer to the front. I was in the same line as my friend rori it was his race in a flash. it had gone so fast i couldn't believe it was my tern. In a click of a finger i was back out of the pool with an easy 3d .I was nervous because i wasn't sure if  3d made it to the final.

Breaststroke

it was my favorite stroke i was puft and was tired and knowing i had to compete in another race didn't help. it took a long time to get out of the pool . That ment that i had to do it srat after i got out of the pool. I tried to get a rest but i didn't make it in time i was called up straight away. i made it into the finills . The finals were tough i was so close to being 4th by a second i got theerd.

 

back to school.

This is the first week back at school. I know that i'm going to love this year so much. I can't wait for school camp and surfing. On the first day of school we did lots of cool things. We did art ,and we got into our buzz groups and played tension and a  kahoot at the end . My favorite was the kahoots because it was very challenging wich made it fun.

On the third week of school we went surfing on Friday . It's the fourth week of school. That week we went to a common surf spot called northern makorori. The size ws around one too two foot. Me Tika Jackson and Mako went out the back and the less experienced surfers caught wight water on the inside. then to rap it up we did a fun swim. Then we went back to school.


Conclusion
I love my new class and i have lots of friends here .In conclusion i think that this year is going to be a good one. I can't wait.
