Room 5 visited young nic's head.  It was a cold and frosty morning.  It took a long time to get to the top. It was a steep climb to the top.  When we got to the eco sanctuary at young nicks head I got to touch a Tuatara! I have never seen a tuatara

Room5 whent Stingray Feeding

We whatid on the beach as alix ekspland to us what tuip of stingray we would see out in the water.
Alex said we would see eagle rays and he said we miet not see a shart talled ray.Slowly we shafied
out into the water.flapping their wings the stingrays where playing in another spot. finle are ferst ray
came it was a small legal ray.

On the grand looking like it was sliding the the eagle ray slole the small eagle ray part the line. We all put
are hand in the water and stroked it. Another one came but it was a  slightly bigger egalray than the othe
r one Alex put a lump of fish in the water BOOME a masav king fish jumped out of the water and smashe
d it.The others came’ then Alex said when you srok the stingrays put your hand in a fist becas the king fis
h won’t go for it and open your hand when you stroke it. Alex cepe throwing smelly fish and the king fish ce
pe chomping it.Soon the piper came out.

Splosh splosh the piper jumping out of the water . O thats why the king fish. Alex thro another bit of bait a
big kawhi tock it .Alex gave us a peas of the stinky fish bait that he had.He got some of it and put it in his
mouth he dagiled it in the water the king fish eat it. He said that if he could do it with his mouth we could
do it with are hands i held it in the water the king fish got it.We went in it was hared getting in bucas there
werh lot of holes.

Room5 pest control

Kia ora my name is Flynn and i'm going to tell you about my pest catchers. 

Last week on Friday we made pest footprint catchers. How the pest catchers work, there is ink in the tube where the animal walks across, you can see what sort of footprints each animal has so you can tell then apart. 

Most of room 5 had nothing in there back or there front yard.The most common pests are rats.The most rear pest are the hedgehog and the cat. Lots of people got mice as well.All of the pests together is 29.
